Alton Towers Scarefest
Alton Towers' Scarefest is back, offering family-friendly scares alongside thrilling rides. This year, Trick O’ Treat Town allows children to walk through a fun town collecting sweets from friendly characters. New for 2024 is Amigos in the Afterlife, a fun, colourful show featuring mischievous spirits and skeletons, sure to keep the whole family entertained. For older kids (and parents), the park offers its famed thrill rides like Wicker Man and The Smiler, which are even more exhilarating in the dark.

During the October half-term, enjoy Halloween-themed fun like meeting Smokey the Dragon, a spooky word hunt, and a fancy-dress competition. For an extra fee, you can also pick your own pumpkin and make a chocolate apple!

Magic Alley Stratford upon Avon: Whispers of Witchcraft
Step back in time to a mysterious village filled with magic and intrigue. The whispers of witchcraft linger in the air, and it's up to you to solve ancient puzzles, crack secret codes, and uncover the identities of the hidden witches. As night falls, eerie paths reveal clues, but not everything is as it seems. While sound and lighting effects enhance the atmosphere, this is not a scare attraction, and no one will jump out at you. A performer may be present, especially during half-term.
Please note: This experience may not be suitable for those with photosensitive epilepsy or sensitivity to lights and sounds.

Hagley's Haunted House & PYO Pumpkin Trail
Get ready for Halloween 2024 with the chilling experience of Hagley's Haunted House! Venture into the eerie abode and face the restless spirits from the region’s dark history.
Will you encounter Lord Lyttleton's ghostly figure in the cobweb-filled bed chamber, or perhaps Bella, the Wych Elm spirit, lurking in the corridors? Or could it be another eerie ghoul or witch awaiting your arrival?
If you brave your way outside, wander through the overgrown graveyard shrouded in mystery and fog. But tread carefully—remember, this area was once plagued by piracy! In a hidden corner of the garden, the skeleton-pirate crew of the Stourbridge canal watches over their gleaming treasures. Can you sneak past them without being captured, or will you become a ghostly pirate for eternity?
To cap off your visit, pick your very own pumpkin on the grounds, carve it, and take it home to ward off Halloween's spooky spirits!
