Birmingham’s Christmas in Cathedral Square Craft Market was established in November 2021 to provide a sustainable platform for the region’s finest independent traders and creative entrepreneurs. Set within the beautiful grounds of Birmingham Cathedral, a Grade I listed building rich in history and remarkable treasures, the market has quickly become one of the city’s most beloved festive attractions.
Running from Friday 7th November to Wednesday 24th December 2025, the market will trade for 40 days in total, bringing together a wonderful mix of artisans and local producers. Visitors can browse stalls filled with handmade crafts, local delicacies, and festive gifts, offering a refreshing alternative to the high street.
With twinkling lights strung through the trees, the scent of mulled wine in the air, and live music adding to the atmosphere, this market offers a truly charming and community-driven festive experience in the heart of Birmingham City Centre.

Winter Wonderland Nottingham
Nottingham’s Winter Wonderland returns to Old Market Square on 12th November 2025, transforming the city centre into a glittering festive hub filled with lights, laughter, and Christmas magic. Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre
Step back in time this winter as Worcester’s streets are transformed into a magical celebration of Christmas past. Established in 1992 by traders from the picturesque New Street and Friar Street, the Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre has grown into one of the region’s most loved festive events.
For 2025, the Fayre returns from 4th to 7th December, filling the city centre with nearly 200 stalls selling local arts and crafts, handmade gifts, and delicious street food. Visitors can browse an incredible selection of Christmas goodies, locally sourced food and drink, and festive decorations, all set against the backdrop of Worcester’s historic streets.
The atmosphere is like stepping into a Victorian storybook — complete with costumed traders, stilt-walkers, and roaming entertainers in Gin Lane. Children and adults alike will love the funfair, featuring the iconic Victorian Galloper carousel, while the air is filled with festive scents of roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, and sweet treats.

The Coventry Christmas Market returns to the heart of the city this winter, bringing with it a month of festive fun, twinkling lights, and seasonal spirit. From 22nd November to 4th January 2025, Broadgate and the surrounding city centre will be transformed into a magical destination where visitors can enjoy festive shopping, food, and entertainment for all ages.
Stroll through the traditional market stalls filled with handcrafted gifts, local crafts, and seasonal food and drink, all set against the backdrop of Coventry’s beautifully lit streets. A glistening big wheel will once again take pride of place in Broadgate, offering panoramic views of the city’s Christmas sparkle both day and night.
The celebrations begin on Saturday 22nd November, when Coventry hosts its spectacular Festival of Christmas. Running from 3pm to 8pm, this free family event will feature illuminated processions, street theatre, live performances, and even a special appearance from Father Christmas himself. With activities and entertainment taking place across the city centre, it promises to be a magical start to the festive season.

Wolverhampton’s Christmas Shopping Market
Wolverhampton Christmas Shopping Market is a week-long celebration of all things festive. Taking place in the heart of the city on Dudley Street, this much-loved event runs from Friday 12th to Thursday 18th December 2025, open daily from 10am to 5pm.
This year’s market promises a wonderful mix of artisan stalls offering unique gifts, handmade crafts, and beautiful festive decorations. Wander through a curated selection of traders showcasing one-of-a-kind items, from locally made art and jewellery to seasonal homeware and delectable festive treats.

Sutton Coldfield Victorian Christmas Market
After the success of the 2024 Christmas market, Sutton Coldfield is set to welcome a new Victorian-themed Christmas Market in 2025, bringing charm, festive cheer, and a truly immersive experience to the town centre.
The Victorian Christmas market will feature wooden chalets filled with unique gifts, handmade crafts, seasonal food, and mulled drinks. Each stallholder will be dressed in Victorian attire, while a variety of Victorian-inspired entertainment will delight visitors, including street performers, stilt walkers, storytellers, magic shows, festive rides, and traditional carols.

Chatsworth House Christmas Market
Start your festive season with a visit to the Chatsworth House Christmas Market in Derbyshire, running from 8th November to 14th December 2025. Entry to the market is free, making it the perfect destination to browse over 100 stalls packed with Christmas gifts, decorations, and seasonal treats.
Held on Lodge Hill, between the Stables and the house entrance, the market offers live music, seasonal food and drink, and plenty of festive cheer. You can explore unique home, garden, and fashion gifts in the Stables shop, including items from local and British makers and small sustainable suppliers.
Take a break from shopping to enjoy a mulled wine or German beer at one of the outdoor bars, or sample gourmet burgers, hot pork rolls, pancakes, churros, and more. For a more formal experience, book lunch, dinner, or afternoon tea at the Cavendish Restaurant.
