If you're looking for an adventure trail that's perfect for the whole family, look no further than Habberley Trail in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. This outdoor gem offers a variety of exciting activities that will keep kids entertained for hours on end.

From the gravity-defying swings to the inflatables and shoot the hoops and connect fours, there is something here for everyone. Keep reading to explore all the amazing things that Habberley Trail has to offer!

What is Habberley Trail?

Nestled in the Worcestershire countryside, Habberley Trail is an outdoor adventure trail aimed at children aged 4 and above. The trail stretches over one-and-a-half miles and offers stunning panoramic views of Habberley Valley.

The outdoor adventure park offers visitors plenty to see and do with lots of fun activities and equipment as visitors walk around the one-and-a-half-mile trail. The activities include swing city, gravity-defying slides, inflatables including a pirate ship and an inflatable bull, a barrel balance challenge, a giant seesaw and vertical roundabout, wall bangers, shoot the hoops, connect fours, and more! Make sure to pack your wellies though as the outdoor adventure trail can get pretty muddy after rainfall.

One of Habberley Trail's latest attractions is its new 100m zip line which allows visitors to glide their way from one end of the trail to the other whilst picking up speed and feeling the gush of wind through their hair. The new zip line costs an additional £9 per person on top of the admission fee. For more information about the new zip line, click here.

Although some activities are strictly for under-21s only, there is still plenty for adults to get involved in at Habberley Trail. On our visit, the adults especially enjoyed the swings, drop slides, wooden balance beams, and basketball games. It's definitely fun for the whole family, and we can't wait to go back! If you'd like to see what we got up to on our visit, feel free to view my Habberley Trail Reel on Instagram.

If you're looking for an exciting outdoor adventure that combines family fun with breathtaking scenery - look no further than Habberley Trail!

How long can you spend at Habberley Trail?

One of the best things about Habberley Trail is that you can easily customise your visit depending on how much time you have available. But if you want to make the most out of your visit and experience everything Habberley Trail has to offer, allow for a minimum of 3 hours.

We spent four hours at Habberley Trail when we visited in March. We had a leisurely walk around the one-and-a-half-mile-long trail and let the kids play for as long as they wanted on the equipment, and we enjoyed a picnic lunch taking in the views. You could definitely make a whole day out of it during the summer months. There's also an onsite cafe that allows you to tuck into your favourite treats after exerting yourselves on the beautiful, scenic trail.

Whether you only have a few hours or an entire day, there's something for everyone at Habberley Trail in Kidderminster.

What age is Habberley Trail suitable for?

Personally, I would say Habberley Trail is better suited for children aged 4-5 up to the early teens to experience all of the activities and make the most out of everything Habberley Trail has to offer, especially with the gravity-defying drop slides, swings, and ball games.

Our 3-year-old was a little too young for some of the equipment but had a great time on the inflatables, Whack a Walley game, balance beams, the smaller slide (on our laps), and generally enjoyed the open space. But this is reflected in that you don't have to pay for under 4s at Habberley Trail.

Is Habberley Trail pushchair friendly?

If you're a parent with small children, it's important to know whether or not Habberley Trail is pushchair friendly. Habberley Trail does state that the trail is not pushchair or wheelchair friendly due to the uneven surfaces and hilly terrain. But we had to take a pushchair and did manage. However, this did require pushing the pram up inclines. I would recommend baby-wearing if this is an option for you.

It's also worth noting that some sections of the trail are narrow, especially the walk from the giant seesaw to the gravity-defying slides. It would be difficult to navigate for double prams and wheelchairs.

Is Habberley Trail dog friendly?

Yes, dogs are very welcome at Habberley Trail so long as they are kept on their leads.
