After the heatwave last week, I’ve put together a list of parks and places which have splash pads or outdoor pools perfect for your little ones to cool down. The places listed below are organised by distance with the longest being a 45-minute drive from central Dudley.
Mary Stevens Park Splash Pad (15 min drive)

⏰ Open 11am-5pm until 5th September.

Willenhall Memorial Park Splash Pad (25 min drive)
⏰ Open 11am-5pm until 5th September.

King George V Playing Fields Splash Pad (30 min drive)
⏰ Open 11am-5pm until 5th September.

Brinton Park Splash Pad (30 min drive)

❗️Cleaning of the splash pad happens anytime between 1pm and 3pm for approx one hour.

Droitwich Spa Lido (35 min drive)
Open-air salt-water swimming pool and splash pad.
⏰ Booking a swim session time slot is required online (You can book upto 2 days in advance).
🎟 £7 per adult, £5 per child, under 2s free.

Telford Town Park Splash Pad (35 min drive)
⏰ Open daily 11am-4pm.
🎟 Free, no booking required.
📍 Telford, TF3 4EP.
Tettenhall Pool (37 min drive)
⏰ Open from Monday 2nd August, 8am-6pm.
🎟 Free, no booking required.
📍 1 Wergs Rd, Wolverhampton, WV6 9AY.
Gheluvent Park Splash Pad (40 min drive)
⏰ Open daily 11am-6pm.

❗️ A maximum of 20 people are allowed in at any one time.
📍 Worcester, WR1 3EY.
Stafford Victoria Park Splash Pad (45 min drive)
⏰ Open 11am-5pm.
🎟 Free, no booking required. The session lasts 30 mins before the pad is closed for 15 minutes for cleaning. But you can requeue to go back in.
❗️ A maximum of 39 people are allowed in at one time. At busier periods, queuing and waiting are required.
