We had a lovely meal out at our local Sizzling Pub ‘The Stag and Three Horseshoes’ on Friday. It made such a nice change getting dressed up and having food out together. We have been quite a few times before for birthdays and Christmas, and the last time we were there we had just found out that we were having a baby boy. And amazingly, we sat at the very same table but this time Elijah was with us. What a coincidence!
I ordered The Big Breakfast and I ordered Elijah a Mini All-Day Breakfast because he loves beans, sausage, and toast! Josh and my sister had a Triple Hunter each (yum!) and my parents had the sizzling steaks (which definitely do come out sizzling!). Our food was served super quick and all piping hot. It was just so so scrummy and there were lots of it! As you can see from the photos, Elijah didn’t even want me to feed him, he wanted to tuck in and feed himself! What was really great was that we only paid £1 for Elijah’s meal as with every adult meal at any Sizzling Pub, you get a kid’s main meal for £1 (Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm).
We even managed to squeeze in a dessert too! I tried the warm Chocolate Fudge Cake with vanilla ice-cream (which was absolutely huge!), Josh had not one, but two Vanilla and Caramel Cheesecakes, my sister had the warm Belgian Chocolate Brownie, and my parents had the Caramel Apple Crumble. There really is so much to choose from! I am now sitting here salivating over all of the food that we ate and wishing I had it in front of me now!
The staff at The Stag and Three Horseshoes pub were also so helpful and friendly. They helped us order through the app and answered any questions we had. They also made sure people stuck to the marked spaces to queue at the bar and made sure people were wearing masks when walking around the pub. You can tell they really care about their customers!
During October half-term (19th-30th October) kids eat FREE at all Sizzling Pubs (Monday-Friday ALL day when an adult main meal is purchased). What an amazing offer! They have a huge range of children’s meals, everything from pizza, chicken wraps, fish fingers, chicken or Quorn nuggets, pasta bolognese, and you can even build your own kid’s meal which is amazing for fussy eaters! There really is something for the whole family! So, why don’t you head to your nearest Sizzling Pub this half term and enjoy a lovely family meal at a really affordable price!
