All Things Wild Nature Centre
All Things Wild Nature Centre in Evesham is an all-year-round family attraction that includes farm animals, zoo animals, dinosaurs, soft play, outdoor play areas, pedal go-karts, and so much more!
With their dinosaur experience, you walk around their dinosaur field through the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods. Take a ride on the Dino Land Train where you can listen to the commentary and explore some of the most popular Dinosaurs! Head to the Dino Barn to explore the Jurassic period and let your children discover dinosaurs and the dino skeleton in the Dino Dig.
How much? All visitors aged 3 and over are £13 each.

West Midland Safari Park
West Midland Safari Park in Bewdley is an award-winning visitor attraction that's home to some of the world's most beautiful and endangered animal species. A family day out at West Midlands Safari Park includes a drive-through safari, an immersive walking trail - land of living dinosaurs (the UK's largest animatronic Dinosaur attraction), Ice Age, Boj's Giggly Park, lemur walkthrough, meerkat mayhem, sea lion theatre, daily shows, adventure arcade, and theme park rides. Any dinosaur fan would be blown away by their life-size dinosaurs and ice-age animals.
How much? West Midland Safari Park is on the more expensive side but it is a whole day out and what’s better, you get a free return ticket when booking online! Admission prices range from £20 to £26 depending on the date you visit. Under 3's go free. Click here for more information.

Hoo Zoo & Dinosaur World
Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World is a family-focused zoo/farm park in Telford. The zoo has animals from meerkats, sheep, llamas, lemurs to servals, wolves, owls, and otters. As well as the animals, the newest addition to Hoo Zoo is the outdoor adventure playground.
In April 2021, Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom rebranded as Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World. This included the launch of a new themed area - Hoo-Rassic World. Hoo-Rassic World is a walk-through where you can see 15 animatronic dinosaurs, which is a little similar to the Land of Living Dinosaurs at West Midland Safari Park but on a smaller scale.
Between the 24th and 26th August 2024, Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World is hosting Jurassic-Mania, where Jurassic Park Motorpool will be showing off their fantastic cars, and you can also meet the roaming dinosaurs from Raptors World. You can even stay in the evening for the outdoor Jurassic Park Cinema on the 24th August (additional tickets required).

Drayton Manor's Dino Trail
As part of your admission to Drayton Manor Theme Park in Tamworth is the Dinosaur Trail. Although it is not on such a big scale as West Midland Safari Park, it is a great addition to your whole day at Drayton Manor. You really can't go wrong with a day trip to Drayton Manor as there is something for everyone: Thomas Land, rides, attractions, zoo, a play area, and much more!
During the February half-term (10th - 20th February 2024), Drayton Manor is hosting a "Dinosaur Breakout" event, where your children can come face to face with Jurassic giants to a-roar-able baby dinosaurs. Only Thomas Land and the 15-acre zoo is open during the February half-term.
How much? For the Dinosaur Breakout event, ticket prices are £26 for those aged 4 and over, £15 for children aged 2-3, and 0-23 months are free.

Wolverhampton Adventure Golf
Have you ever wanted to play golf among dinosaurs? Located just a short drive from Wolverhampton City Centre is Wolverhampton Adventure Golf. The 18-hole dinosaur-themed outdoor crazy golf course is perfect for dino fans! With waterfalls, crashed cars, rapids, and escaped raptors there is something to see around every corner.

Jurassic Creek Adventure Golf
There are plenty of dinosaurs to discover as you wind your way through the 18-hole mini golf course at Jurassic Creek Adventure Golf in Wolverhampton. This dino golfing experience includes the 20ft T-Rex and Brachiasouras named ‘Rory Neckilroy’.

Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum
If you have older children who love dinosaurs, they may appreciate the real dinosaur skulls, dinosaur skeletons, and fossils at Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum. Some of the dinosaur collection includes a Jurassic crocodile and an Ichthyosaur, (an almost 200 million-year-old giant sea monster from the time of the dinosaurs).
As well as the dinosaur exhibitions, Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum also has a MiniBrum, a 4k Planetarium (£2.50 per person per show in addition to admission price), a Science Garden, and so much more!

The Lapworth Museum of Geology
If you are passing Edgbaston, The Lapworth Museum of Geology at the University of Birmingham holds the finest and most extensive collections of fossils, minerals, and rocks in the region. The Lapworth Museum of Geology is a great place for older children who are fascinated with dinosaurs and fossils.
Although the Lapworth Museum of Geology isn't a full day out, it's a great place to take your kids for an hour if you're in the area or passing. It's also free which is a bonus!

Dinosaur Adventure Live
Dinosaur Adventure Live is an interactive stage show that immerses the audience in a fascinating and realistic world of dinosaurs. The show is touring in the UK in 2024. Some of the locations in the Midlands include Assembly Rooms, Tamworth, Forum Theatre, Malvern, Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, and Palace Theatre, Redditch.
the Swan Theatre in Worcester, Walsall Arena and Arts Centre, The Albany Theatre in Coventry, the Royal Spa Centre in Leamington Spa, Cheltenham Town Hall, and the Prince Of Wales Centre in Cannock.

Meet Dippy, the world-famous dino-star, at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum in Coventry. Dippy, the larger-than-life replica of a Diplodocus carnegii skeleton, stretches an impressive 26 meters in length and once roamed the Earth approximately 155-145 million years ago. For a few decades, Dippy has captivated visitors of all ages at the renowned Natural History Museum in London.

Leicester Museum & Art Gallery
At Leicester Museum & Art Gallery, there is a dedicated dinosaurs gallery as well as an Ancient Egypt and Wild Space. You can also download the free, family-friendly, ‘Meet Leicester’s Dinosaurs’ augmented reality (AR) app to see how a giant dinosaur would look walking through your living room or local park.

Dinomania Live 2024
Dinomania is an interactive dinosaur show touring the UK this year. Witness realistic walking dinosaurs, small interactive puppets and animatronics put on a show like you've never seen before!

DINOslam Live!
On the 28th of March 2024, travel back to prehistoric times to meet some of the most formidable dinosaurs that ever lived in the DINOslam Live show. Ranger Bernard and his team are excited for you to meet the baby pups and embrace the terror of our walking dinosaurs. Discover dinosaur fossils and even see a T-rex hatch live!

A Jurassic Day Out in Derby
The Dinosaurs return to Derby’s Cathedral Quarter for a third year! On 20th July 2024, your children can meet all their favourite dinosaurs including Zeus – the UK's biggest T-Rex, Emily Bronty and Tank the Triceratops! What's even better is this event is free! More details to follow.
