Christmas Light Trails in the Midlands 2021

Christmas light trails are an ideal place to enjoy all the sparkle of Christmas and are a great alternative or even addition to a Santa’s Grotto, Christmas market, Winter Wonderland, Polar Express, and other festivities. Both young and old can enjoy the bright lights and festive atmosphere!

Christmas Light Trails in Worcestershire

  • How much? Adults £16, children £11 (age 3-16), under 3s are free. Prebooking required.

  • When: The Illuminated Light Trail starts on 4th December 2021 and runs until 2nd January 2022.

  • Where: Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire, WR13 6NW.

  • How much? Ticket prices vary depending on the day you intend to visit.

  • When: Saturday 6th November 2021 - Sunday 2nd January 2022*

  • Where: In the Riverside Gardens at Webbs, Wychbold. Worcester Road, Wychbold, Droitwich.




Staffordshire

  • How much? Individual (3+ years) £20 each. Tickets include access to Lightopia and the Towers Street Christmas Market. Booking a time slot for Lightopia is required.

  • When: 27th November 2021 until 2nd January 2022.

  • Where: Farley Lane, Alton, Stoke-on-Trent, ST10 4DB.

  • How much? Ticket prices vary slightly depending on the day you intend to visit. Click here for more info.

  • When: 7th until 18th December 2021.

  • Where: National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, Staffordshire, DE13 7AR.

  • How much? When booking in advance online prices are £19.50 per adult, £13 per child (age 3-15) excluding booking fee, under 3s free.

  • When: 26th November 2021 - 9th January 2022.

  • Where: Stone Rd, Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 8JG.


Warwickshire

  • How much? Ticket prices vary slightly depending on the day you intend to visit. Click here for more info.

  • When: 18th November 2021 until 24th December 2021.

  • Where: Brinklow Road, Binley, Coventry, CV3 2AB.

  • How much? Tickets vary depending on if you would like to book the Light Trail only or the Light Trail and Castle entry. Click here for more info.

  • When: 29th November 2021 – 2nd January 2022.

  • Where: Warwick Castle, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 4QU.

  • How much? £9 each (under 2s free).

  • When: Saturday 4th December 2021 and Saturday 11th December 2021.

  • Where: Echills Wood Railway, Kingsbury Water Park, Bodymoor Heath Road, Sutton Coldfield, B76 0DY.

  • How much? £7.50pp or Family Ticket (2 adults and 2 children (under 4) £25.

  • When: Wednesday 15th December 2021

  • Where: Wethele Manor, Wethele Manor Farm, CV33 9DD.




Shropshire

  • How much? £14 per person (under 4s free) or £45 per family (2 adults and 2 children aged 4-14 years).

  • When: Selected dates from 9th to 23rd December 2021.

  • Where: Address: Weston-under-Lizard, Shifnal, TF11 8LE.

  • When: Selected dates from 19th November 2021 and 23rd December 2021.

  • Where: Severn Valley Railway Bridgnorth Station, WV16 5DT.


Oxfordshire

  • How much? When booking in advance online prices are £22.50 per adult, £16 per child (age 3-16), under 2s free. Family tickets available. Pre-booking is advisable but not essential.

  • When: 19th November 2021 to 2nd January 2022.


Nottinghamshire

  • How much? Ticket prices vary slightly depending on the day you intend to visit. Click here for more info.

  • When: 26th November 2021 until 9th January 2022.

  • Where: Wollaton Hall, Nottingham, NG8 2AE.

  • How much? £11.95pp (Under 2s free).

  • When: Selected dates between Saturday 27th November 2021 and Monday 3rd January 2022.

  • Where: Totally Magical, Rufford Abbey, Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, NG22 9DF.




Lincolnshire

  • How much? Ticket prices vary depending on if you are a National Trust member.

  • When: 25th November 2021 to 2nd January 2022.


Leicestershire

  • How much? £19.50pp (under 18 months go free)

  • When: Friday 10th - Friday 24th December 2021

  • Where: Whatton House, Whatton Estate, Long Whatton, Loughborough, LE12 5BG.

  • How much? Adults £17pp. Children £13 (aged 4-15). Children aged 3 and under go free. Family of 2 Adults and 2 Children £56.

  • When: Saturday 26th November 2021 to Wednesday 1st January 2022

  • Where: Belvoir Castle, Grantham, Leicestershire, NG32 1PE.


Gloucestershire

  • How much? Ticket prices are £19.80 per adult, £14.40 per child (aged 4-15), £9.90 per toddler (aged 2-3), free for under 1 years old and under.

  • When: 27th November 2021 to 1st January 2022.

  • Where: Cotswold Farm Park, Guiting Power, Cheltenham, GL54 5FL.


Northamptonshire

  • How much? £15 per adult, £13 per child, under 2s free.

  • When: Friday 19th November 2021 to Sunday 2nd January 2022.

  • Where: Delapré Abbey, London Rd, Northampton NN4 8AW.
